Xero Integration
OperatorHub has the ability to push all your invoices directly to Xero saving you valuable time and reducing errors.
If you are currently using Xero as your accountancy package simply speak to your OperatorHub Account Manager to get the connection setup for your buisness. If you are currently using another package but would like to know more about Xero's offering click here.
Once the connection has been established, click on your Integrations Menu and select API Connections. You will now see a Xero API. Click on the Xero API link and this will allow you to connect to your Xero Account.
If you are already logged into Xero it will offer to connect. If not it will prompt you to login first. Simply select the Organisation to connect to and then allow Access.
Once this is complete go back to your api connection page and you can configure your integration default settings
You can set up a system wide "default setting" which will apply to all products as default. Account codes, Tax types, Tracking Catergory and options will all be imported from your xero account. You simply need to correctly select each one and save and then these settings will apply to all your products.
There is also the ability to turn off Commissions and order fees/discounts from appearing as individual line items on your invoice. This would mean that for an agent on 10% for a $100 product would recieve an invoice for the product at $90. Alternatively the commission is recorded as a seperate line item displaying as $100 product and -$10 commission. You can add account codes, tax types and tracking catergories and options to these elements in this setup too.
If you have some products that require different codes, tax types or tracking. You will now see a "Xero" Tab in the product edit. You can configure each product to be different from the inherit settings you have just created, should you choose, as-well as add a second tracking category and option if required.
The final part of the setup is Mapping your agencies to existing company records in Xero.
If you now edit an agency you will see a new "Xero" Tab and you are able to do this. If you leave it unmapped, the first time you generate an invoice for this agency it will auto create the contact in Xero based on the information in the Agency
