What is a Simple Product and when to use it?

A Simple Product is anything that can be sold that does not have a specific availability or value to determine how many can be sold or when.

Internal Usage

Use a Simple Product for items such as lunches, drinks, T-shirts, add-ons to products that you will want recorded but are not necessarily tied to a set time, place or availability.

External Usage

Use a Simple Product to sell other operators products (third Party products). The availability, times and departures are not controlled by OperatorHub and must be made with an external supplier. Simple Products are good for having a price, quantity, and time that can be flexible to meet these needs.
