How to add a discount or a fee to an order

We can add discounts or fees at different stages of the booking for different reasons. You can add fixed amount or percentage modifications in all instances depending on your needs.

During Checkout

During the checkout process, there are 2 places to add a discount.

1. The first is on the order item, the little dollar sign button. This allows you to add a discount or fee directly onto the item. This will also effect the commission given to agent bookings.
2. The second is on the order. This allows you to add a discount or fee to the total order. This will not effect an agent bookings commission.

After Checkout

After you have checked out your order you are still able to add discounts. In a similar manner as above there are 2 different places to add a discount. again on the order item. Or the order itself.

1. If you press the little blue spanner "admin edit" button. This will will allow you to add a discount or fee directly onto the item. As the booking has already been made if you want it to effect the commission you must update this manually here too.
2. The second way is by using the add discount button. This allows you to add a discount or fee to the total order. It is added as another line item and so effects the total amount but will not effect an agent bookings commission.
